Job summary

Storal’s Chesterfield Nursery School is seeking a motivated Early Years Educator to join our close-knit team. You will cover for children as needed, helping with planning and activities while maintaining a warm, home-from-home environment.

Our setting values creativity, EYFS standards, and a collaborative approach. The role offers part-time flexibility under a zero-hour contract with a focus on delivering high-quality care and learning for young children.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification in early years.
• Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for children as needed, including holidays, sickness or vacancies.
• Deliver planned activities and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
• Support learning through activities, storytelling, crafts and outdoor play while following EYFS standards.
