Equip Outdoor Technologies UK Ltd based in Alfreton, Derbyshire specialise in the design and marketing of technical outdoor clothing and equipment. Our experienced and enthusiastic team develop innovative designs, manufactured to the highest standard and brought to market throughout the world. Our team is based at our Head Office just outside The Peak District National Park off jct28 of the M1 corridor.

Position

We are recruiting for a Creative Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our Marketing team and lead the creative positioning of the brand. You will be responsible for delivering strong global campaigns in line with the brand direction across product launches, athletes, events, seasonal campaigns, influencers, exhibitions, and retail partners.

The role forms part of the creative team, responsible for creative marketing. This team is part of the wider Marketing department made up of trade marketing, consumer marketing, PR, online and social.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Project Management: Oversee creative projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.) to align creative efforts and achieve business goals.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels, ensuring a cohesive and recognisable brand identity.
  • Conceptual Design: Develop innovative and compelling design concepts that effectively communicate our brand message and resonate with our target audience.
  • Design Execution: Create high-quality design assets, including print materials, digital graphics, instore activations, website and social media content.
Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a graphic designer
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and versatility
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Email platforms and CMS
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proven capability to maintain brand consistency across diverse channels while aligning creative output with business goals
  • Experience in people and team management encompassing performance appraisals and development reviews
  • Current full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Proficient or a desire to learn video editing
  • Stays current with design trends and tools to keep creative work fresh and relevant
  • A passion for the outdoors
