A leading entertainment company in Greater London is offering a two-year apprenticeship in technical theatre. Candidates will develop skills across various theatres as multi-skilled technicians. The program includes practical experience and training in lighting, audio, and stage systems. Applicants should be eager to learn with good communication skills. We own, operate or programme iconic venues; ATG Entertainment manages 64 venues across Britain, the US and Germany. Our in‑house production team, ATG Productions, produces award‑winning shows for the West End, Broadway, Continental Europe and beyond.
The apprenticeship is two years long and includes time with lighting, flys and stage. Apprentices will work in at least two theatres and develop a wide range of technical skills, ultimately becoming multi‑skilled technicians. Apprenticeships are offered at ten London venues, with possible secondments to regional theatres.
ATG operates ten venues easily accessible from central London. Apprentices will be based at one of these venues – Phoenix Theatre, Lucas Theatre, Harold Pinter Theatre, and others. Applicants should ideally live in London, Zone 6, or be willing to travel frequently.
You will be committed to on‑the‑job experience as well as off‑the‑job workshops, tutorials, and portfolio building, supported by college tutors.
You do not need previous theatre experience to apply. A Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE grade C / 4‑5) qualification in English and Maths is desirable; support will be provided to achieve this during the apprenticeship.

Creative Industries Production Technician – Creative Venue Technician Pathway Level 3 Standard. Training covers lighting, audio, video, stage systems and stagecraft techniques, enabling technicians to set up, rig, operate, maintain, and repair technical equipment.
