Job summary

Burberry is seeking a Creative Image Retoucher to deliver exceptional visual content for campaigns, social, and communications imagery. You will ensure images reflect Burberry’s luxury aesthetic and support marketing with high-standard assets.

You will work closely with photographers and creative directors, using Adobe Creative Suite to push the boundaries of image enhancement while meeting tight timelines and maintaining brand integrity.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Creative Image Retoucher at Burberry, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional visual content by providing the finishing touches to campaign, social, and communications imagery. Your craftsmanship will ensure that every image reflects the impeccable quality and aesthetic expected of a leading luxury fashion brand. This role is essential to maintaining Burberry's brand image and supporting marketing and creative teams with high-standard visual assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate across a broad spectrum of image styles, including fashion, beauty, still life, architecture, events, and ambient photography, taking full ownership of retouching to ensure the final output aligns with Burberry’s brand standards.
• Support the Lead Retoucher in managing daily image workflows, helping to streamline processes and manage project timelines efficiently.
• Contribute insights and improvements to retouch workflow methods, promoting innovation and consistency across projects.
• Strictly follow established workflow procedures to ensure all images are accurately structured, filed, and archived according to Burberry’s guidelines and digital asset management protocols.
• Interpret creative briefs with attention to detail and originality, ensuring the retouched imagery aligns with artistic vision and campaign strategy.
• Deliver retouched images from initial capture through to final delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Continuously develop technical expertise and creative skills using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, to push the boundaries of image enhancement.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with photographers, creative directors, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to foster a productive working environment.
• Adapt flexibly to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced and dynamic creative setting.
• Ensure colour matching across all imagery to product samples or references, achieving a harmonious and truthful representation of Burberry’s products.
