Job summary

Factory International is seeking a Family Programme Manager to lead the planning and delivery of family events and activities, strengthening engagement with families and communities across Greater Manchester.

Working with the Young People and Family Lead and Creative Learning team, you will develop inclusive, ambitious family programming and manage delivery, partnerships and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering family, intergenerational or community engagement activity in arts, culture or learning settings.
  • Experience coordinating projects from planning through implementation and reflection.
  • Experience building relationships with families, communities, partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging diverse audiences.
  • Experience developing inclusive and accessible engagement approaches.
  • Ability to gather insight, feedback and learning to support future programme development.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion and creating welcoming environments for children and families.
  • Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation.
  • Willing to complete DBS checks (Factory International can support with processing)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Young People and Family Lead to scope, develop and deliver family activity within the building and across communities.
  • Coordinate programme logistics including scheduling, staffing, resources and operational delivery.
  • Work with artists, facilitators and internal teams to support high-quality delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with families, community organisations and partners across Greater Manchester to strengthen engagement and increase participation.
  • Develop outreach approaches that connect with families beyond the venue and support ongoing engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership to extend the reach and impact of family programming.
  • Gather insight, feedback and audience learning to inform future family engagement and programme development.
  • Support the visibility and promotion of family activity through community networks and partner relationships.
  • Manage project administration, budgets and reporting as required.
