Job summary

MandM Direct Limited in Hereford is seeking a mid-level Image Retoucher/Editor to join our Studio team. You will deliver high-quality, colour-accurate e-commerce imagery for major global brands, while hitting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The role is a 6-month fixed term contract, full-time and onsite, with opportunities to develop technical skills in Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud within our Hereford office, located in the city centre.

Qualifications

• Proven Retouching Experience: mid-level editing of high-volume ecommerce imagery.
• Software Expertise: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and CC across PC/Mac.
• Pace & Time Management: Manages high-volume workflows under tight deadlines.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of digital photography, lighting and colour accuracy.
• AI Tool Knowledge (Desirable): Experience with AI-driven image editing tools is a plus.
• Background (Desirable): Experience in retail/e-commerce studio environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute editing, colour correction, and retouching across ecommerce photography and campaign assets.
• Quality check and colour-match digital files against physical samples for accuracy.
• Maintain MandM photography guidelines to ensure consistent output.
• Work with Photography, Styling, and Imaging teams to ensure timely asset handover.
• Collaborate with Buying teams to reflect current samples and requirements.
• Communicate across the department to resolve workflow bottlenecks and meet timelines.
• Adopt new editing tools and AI-driven technologies to maximise efficiency.
• Assist photographers with image editing during high-volume periods.
• Provide cover in the absence of senior imaging roles to keep operations running.
