Overview

Jacksons Lane is seeking a new Creative Director & Joint CEO to lead our team alongside our Executive Director & Joint CEO. As the flagship arts and cultural venue in Haringey, Jacksons Lane hosts a year-round programme encompassing the best in contemporary circus performance, arts participation activities, cultural education, and outreach work for both its community and the sector as a whole.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and co-chair the organisation with the Executive Director & Joint CEO to guide the artistic vision and strategic direction.
  • Inspire teams across the company, venue, or organisation and champion high-quality artistic and participatory work.
  • Balance artistic ambition with business strategy, including developing programmes to attract investment and support.
  • Build partnerships and engage with the community to broaden access and impact.
  • Develop artists and audiences, and promote the power of the arts to change lives.
Qualifications
  • Strong artistic leadership with vision, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills; experience as an artist, producer, or programmer creating work or placing it into performance contexts.
  • Experience in leading teams and organisations, with ability to make and own decisions.
  • Commitment to quality, audience development, outreach, and working with diverse communities.
  • Empathetic leadership, readiness to learn, ambition, kindness, and a practical, hands-on approach to co-leading a vibrant arts centre.
