Job summary

Art in Liverpool seeks a Director of Artistic Programme and Planning to shape the artistic life of our Orchestra, Choir and ensembles, working with the Chief Executive and conductors to plan concerts, commissions, broadcasts and tours.

You will lead a financially sustainable strategy for programming and partnerships, with a collaborative, internationally connected approach and deep understanding of classical music.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future artistic life of our Orchestra, Choir and ensembles.
• Lead a coherent, financially sustainable strategy for concert programming, commissions, recordings, broadcast, tours, residencies and partnerships.
• Engage audiences in Liverpool and beyond while strengthening our national and international profile.
