About the Role

As Creative Director, you'll develop, execute, and oversee disruptive and culturally-resonant social-first content and campaigns with an emphasis on short-form video and design-forward storytelling. Leadership, mentorship, and a background in copywriting or production are highly valued.

This will be a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities
  • Drive social-first creative and edutainment content development, with a focus on short-form video and design-forward storytelling, that captivates audiences and pushes creative boundaries
  • Lead the development of social-first creative campaigns, helping blue-chip clients create culturally-resonant moments
  • Manage and mentor a skilled team of content creators, designers, copywriters, editors and makers across multiple workstreams, guiding work, fostering creativity, giving feedback, and overseeing bandwidth
  • Work alongside leadership peers to create a joyful, creatively-fueled work environment
  • Partner with the Social Media Strategy Director to craft impactful content strategies that resonate with target audiences
  • Collaborate with the account management team to align content with clients' objectives and brand guidelines
  • Stay current on emerging social media trends, tools, and platforms to elevate our creative offerings
  • Foster agency-wide innovation and excellence through thought leadership and creative direction
Qualifications
  • Open to working a hybrid work schedule.
  • 10+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep experience with the Adobe suite of editing, design and content-creation tools
  • Experience developing both reactive / trend-driven, as well as planned content
  • Experience creating content for TikTok, Reels and/or YouTube Shorts.
  • Passion for and experience with short form video and other social storytelling formats.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and client-facing skills.
  • Proven success in developing, overseeing, and executing social-first content strategies.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and guiding a team of content creators.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to adapt priorities, meet deadlines, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Connected to culture, knowledgeable about content creators’ social habits, and enthusiastic about the industry.
  • Expertise in creating content and campaigns considering algorithms across multiple social media platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
