Job summary

IG Design Group in South Wales is seeking a Creative Designer to join our busy studio team. You will create innovative and commercial designs for greetings products, working to deadlines with flexibility and creativity to develop high-quality customer ranges.

The role is hybrid with one permanent position and one maternity cover. You will collaborate with Design Managers, Production and Repro to ensure accurate manufacturing and on-trend ranges.

Qualifications

• Proficient IT skills with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with flexibility.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Creative thinker with trend awareness and inspiration.
• Experience creating artwork from briefs across multiple formats.

Responsibilities

• Create and adapt artwork from design briefs across formats.
• Develop designs from concept through to final repro.
• Produce 3D mock-ups and assist with product sampling.
• Collaborate with Design Managers to develop customer-specific ranges.
• Work with Repro and Production to ensure accurate manufacturing.
• Contribute ideas to new product development.
• Deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.

Scope of the Role:

We're excited to offer two fantastic opportunities for creative and passionate Creative Designers to join our busy studio team in Wales. We are recruiting for one permanent position and one maternity cover position. As a Creative Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and commercial designs for greetings products, working to deadlines with flexibility and creativity to develop high-quality customer ranges that meet commercial objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create and adapt artwork from design briefs across multiple formats.
• Develop designs from concept through to final repro.
• Produce 3D mock-ups and assist with product sampling.
• Collaborate with Design Managers to develop customer-specific ranges.
• Work with Repro and Production to ensure accurate manufacturing.
• Contribute ideas to new product development.
• Demonstrate creativity, trend awareness, and proactive design thinking.
• Monitor customer activity and market trends.
• Deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required by management.
