Overview
Job Summary: The role of Creative Design Assistant to support our visual design and multimedia content production. The role is ideal for a highly creative and detail-oriented professional who brings both technical knowledge and artistic flair to visual communications. This position will contribute to the development of customer-centric visual content, branding assets, motion graphics, animations, digital presentations, and promotional material. The role is based at our Leicester office.
Mandatory Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in graphic or multimedia design.
- Demonstrated experience using creative designing tools (Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, InShot, VN).
- Portfolio showcasing branding, illustration, animation or digital media design.
- Experience producing visual assets for digital marketing, websites, social media, and video content.
- Familiarity with design principles for both print and digital platforms.
- Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders to interpret briefs and meet commercial goals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver complex solutions aligned with client and organisational objectives.
- Work closely with the marketing and content teams to conceptualise and create visually compelling designs across a range of digital and print assets.
- Collaborate directly with clients and project stakeholders to clarify creative briefs, project timelines, media formats, and brand guidelines.
- Create and deliver high-quality graphics, illustrations, infographics, animated videos, and interactive design prototypes.
- Undertake research into project requirements, understand target audiences, and suggest appropriate visual storytelling methods.
- Prepare mock-ups, mood boards, wireframes, and other pre-visualisation materials.
- Assist in post-production editing for marketing videos, UI animations, explainer reels, and ad banners.
- Maintain visual brand consistency across all deliverables.
- Liaise with printers, developers, and production vendors as necessary.
- Ensure all outputs are optimised for web, mobile, and high-resolution media formats.
- Comply with internal QA processes, timelines, and project documentation standards.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed
- A recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Communication Design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles, design systems, and accessibility standards.
- Ability to handle multiple design projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality, originality, and brand alignment.
- Good understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.

Qualifications & Education
Applicants should hold a Bachelor\'s degree (UK or equivalent) in a relevant field. Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications are an advantage.
Compensation
The role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of GBP 25000 to GBP 35000, depending on skills and prior experience.
