We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Creative Content Manager / Digital Marketing Manager who thrives on innovation and collaboration.

As a Creative Content Manager / Digital Marketing Manager you will develop and deliver high-quality, multi-channel campaigns that reflect the organisation’s brand and strategy. Working with creative professionals and digital specialists, you will produce engaging content that resonates across digital, social and experiential platforms.

The Creative Content Manager / Digital Marketing Manager will lead a small creative team, manage content workflows and ensure that all campaigns are effective, inclusive and aligned with organisational objectives.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Creative Content Manager / Digital Marketing Manager include:

  • Lead Digital Strategy: Develop and implement creative digital marketing and content strategies that enhance audience engagement
  • Oversee Campaigns: Manage the production of impactful social, video and multimedia content across various digital channels
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with designers, videographers, copywriters and social media specialists to deliver campaigns
  • Innovate and Inspire: Lead brainstorming sessions and introduce new creative approaches to storytelling and brand engagement
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of content creators, ensuring brand consistency and high standards
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to brand, accessibility, copyright and GDPR regulations
  • Evaluate Performance: Use analytics tools to track, report and optimise campaign performance
  • Streamline Operations: Implement efficient briefing, content management and workflow systems for creative projects
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience in leading digital marketing and creative content strategies
  • Strong storytelling, copywriting and visual communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of SEO, social media, and digital engagement trends
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar creative tools
  • Experience with social-first content creation including TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
  • Strong grasp of analytics and performance reporting
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage and inspire creative teams
DESIRABLE
  • Experience using Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
  • Knowledge of video SEO and channel optimisation
  • Background in higher education or public sector marketing
  • Experience mentoring junior marketing and content professionals
