Job summary

Signature Dining is seeking an experienced, creative and compassionate Chef to join our team in High Wycombe. Available for an immediate start, you will work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota, earning £14.45 per hour and preparing meals from fresh ingredients for residents and visitors.

You will report to the chef manager and be responsible for delivering breakfast, lunch and supper services, cooking from scratch, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven culinary expertise with advanced knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and presentation.
• Experience in menu planning, development and food costing.
• Strong people skills with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate kitchen teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations, hygiene standards and allergen management.
• Experience in inventory management, supplier liaison, and cost control.
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment and knife skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
