Job summary

CH&CO, a part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a dedicated Chef/Cook on a zero-hours contract to help ensure smooth operation across services. The role is casual, with a 0-hour contract per week.

You will prepare high-quality food, oversee menu changes, respond to feedback, and support with new concepts while upholding hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to prepare high-quality food
• Experience supervising a team in a kitchen
• Certified in food hygiene and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers
• Oversee and implement menu changes
• Identify opportunities to improve food services
• Respond to customer feedback to improve service
• Assist with creation of new menus and concepts
• Represent CH&CO and maintain a positive brand image
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens stocked
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness and hygiene compliance
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations

Skills

Education

City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
