Role: Creative Artworker – 2.5 days a week (12 month FTC)

Location: London, United Kingdom

About the role:

As Creative Artworker, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate, on‑brand artwork across print and digital channels, from brand campaigns, always‑on content, event and marketing collateral to social‑media assets, email, and long‑form communications. Working closely with the Senior Integrated Designer and Account Director, you’ll interpret briefs with confidence, produce finished artwork to the highest technical standard, and adapt assets efficiently across formats, markets, and language variants.

Operating within a regulated financial services environment, you’ll bring precision and care to compliance‑sensitive materials, applying required disclaimers, substantiation standards, and sign‑off checkpoints correctly as part of standard practice.

You’ll bring both technical discipline and creative awareness to every project, comfortable working independently on production tasks while contributing ideas and improvements where they add value.

What you will be doing:

Artwork Production

  • Produce accurate, on‑brand finished artwork across print and digital formats, brand campaigns, always‑on content, event collateral, email, and long‑form communications, interpreting briefs confidently and delivering to tight timelines
  • Manage the full artwork life‑cycle: brief interpretation, amends, quality checking, final delivery, and file archiving within shared asset systems
  • Prepare and check files for print and digital production, applying correct specifications, pre‑press standards, and platform requirements throughout
  • Adapt and resize assets across formats, sizes, and language variants across seven markets, maintaining visual consistency within brand guardrails
  • Apply compliance requirements, DISCLAIMERS, substantiation standards, and sign‑off checkpoints, as standard practice in a regulated financial services environment

Brand & Asset Management

  • Protect brand identity standards across every format, channel, and market, identifying inconsistencies before output reaches stakeholders
  • Support development and maintenance of reusable asset libraries and scalable templates to reduce duplication and improve studio efficiency
  • Make considered production decisions on layout, typography, and imagery within brand guidelines, without requiring direction on every asset

Digital & Motion

  • Create and adapt digital assets, social‑media templates, web‑ready files, and platform‑specific formats, optimised to technical specifications
  • Support the Motion Graphic Designer on short‑form asset adaptation and variant production, applying basic motion knowledge where needed
  • Communicate clearly with the OLIVER team, agency colleagues, and client stakeholders on project status, timelines, and capacity
  • Manage multiple live projects simultaneously, contribute positively to studio culture, and complete timesheets accurately and on time

Gen AI & Agentic Thinking

  • Integrate AI tools into artwork and production workflows, building effective prompts, critically evaluating outputs, and applying human craft judgement before use
  • Use AI‑assisted workflows for asset adaptation, resizing, and transcreation across markets without compromising brand quality or compliance
  • Break down complex, multi‑format briefs into clear, efficient steps, adapting quickly when priorities shift
What you need to be great in this role:
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating technical precision and creative awareness across print and digital, brand campaigns, communications, and always‑on content
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with a solid understanding of print production, pre‑press, and digital platform specifications
  • Experience producing and adapting assets for multi‑market or international campaigns across formats, sizes, and language variants
  • Understanding of brand identity systems, with the confidence to apply and protect visual standards independently
  • Familiarity with compliance‑sensitive production environments and the ability to apply DISCLAIMERS, substantiation requirements, and sign‑off processes as standard
  • Knowledge of digital design practices: social‑media templates, web asset preparation, and basic motion graphics
  • Experience working within structured asset management systems and reusable template libraries
  • Strong communication skills and an organised approach to managing multiple simultaneous projects within a collaborative creative team
  • Knowledge of AI tools relevant to creative production, with experience building effective prompts and evaluating outputs critically
  • Agentic mindset: able to break production tasks into manageable steps, adapt when priorities shift, and bring genuine curiosity about how AI can improve craft quality
  • Formal degrees are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts. Experience can be gained through work, study, volunteering, or self‑directed learning.

Our values shape everything we do:

Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible

Be always learning and listening to understand
