Vision For Education are recruiting a Creative Arts Assistant to support pupils with SEND in Chippenham. The role involves assisting in classroom activities, engaging students through creative arts, and promoting positive choices in a supportive school environment.

Vision For Education are seeking a Creative Arts Assistant to work with young people with SEND in the Chippenham area. An ideal candidate for the role of Creative Arts Assistant will be someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable and have excellent communication skills. The desired Creative Art Assistant will have a passion for working with young people and be able to build rapport quickly, supporting young people in making positive choices. The role will hold the usual responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant within a SEND school environment but also be able to incorporate their creative arts skills where required by school. These roles are ideal for individuals looking to build experience in care or education fields and potentially interested in progressing careers within these areas.

Requirements

The desired Creative Arts Assistant will have:

• A passion for the progress of children or young people with SEND
• An ability to work as part of a team.
• An ability to build rapport quickly with students

• Comfortable working within a classroom setting either in a group or 1:1 basis
