Overview

Are you a passionate and inspiring Creative Arts teacher looking to make a real difference in a supportive, alternative primary setting? We are seeking a talented professional to join our Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), delivering engaging and imaginative arts education to pupils with additional needs. Location: Wallington, Surrey (SM6). Contract: Full-time, long-term. Start Date: Monday 10th November.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Creative Arts lessons tailored to pupils with additional needs.
• Inspire and motivate pupils to explore visual arts, drama, music, and other creative disciplines.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate the arts across the PRU curriculum.
• Contribute to school events, exhibitions, and performances.

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Creative Arts in a primary setting, ideally within a PRU or alternative provision.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A creative, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and promoting inclusive education.
