Overview

Role: Creative Arts Teacher

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Contract: Flexible temporary roles - day-to-day, short-term and long-term

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary: £32,916 - £45,351 per annum (dependent on experience, role and/or qualifications)

What you will do

Heart of Supply is calling out to passionate and inspiring Creative Arts Teachers, including Art Teachers, Drama Teachers, Music Teachers, and Design Teachers, to work across a range of secondary schools in Lincoln and the surrounding area.

We’re looking for talented Creative Arts Teachers who love helping students explore their imagination, build confidence and express themselves through the arts. Whether your expertise lies in Art and Design, Performing Arts, or Music, we have a wide range of Creative Arts teaching opportunities to suit your skills and availability.

As a Creative Arts Teacher with Heart of Supply, you'll play a key role in nurturing creativity and developing practical and expressive skills among students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll bring passion, energy, and innovation to your lessons, whether you're delivering dynamic performances, guiding artistic projects or leading design-based learning.

We offer flexibility and variety, whether you're looking for day-to-day Creative Arts supply, regular part-time Creative Arts teaching, or a long-term Creative Arts Teacher role. We'll work closely with you to find placements that align with your strengths and aspirations.

What you will need
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent UK secondary classroom experience teaching a Creative Arts subject (Art, Drama, Music or Design)
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach engaging, inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • A confident and supportive approach to behaviour management, fostering a positive and expressive classroom environment
  • The ability to build quick, encouraging relationships with students and colleagues, inspiring a love for the creative arts
  • A proactive, flexible attitude and a genuine passion for teaching Art, Drama, Music or Design
  • A minimum of 6 weeks' UK teaching experience (including placements)
