Job summary

Faith Secondary School in Sheffield is seeking an energetic and dedicated Art Teacher to join its welcoming Art Department. You will inspire students through hands-on lessons that build artistic, technical and critical-thinking skills.

The role covers KS3 to KS5 with responsibilities to plan and deliver Art, assess progress and contribute to exhibitions and departmental activities while supporting a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong Art and Design subject knowledge is required.
• Experience teaching Art at secondary level.
• Creative and engaging teaching approach is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3-KS5
• Develop students' creative and practical skills
• Teach a range of media, techniques and artistic styles
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level where required
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour standards
• Contribute to exhibitions, enrichment and departmental activities
