Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Activity Co-ordinator for the Riverside Centre at Hillingdon Hospital to design and deliver a varied programme of social, creative and skills-based activities for inpatients.

You will work across two acute wards and the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit as part of a six-strong team, with supervision from an Occupational Therapist and access to CNWL Learning and Development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
• Experience in health/social care services (paid or unpaid).
• Experience of working within a mental health setting.
• Ability to initiate and facilitate social, recreational, creative and leisure activities with service users on both an individual and group basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions with personal recovery principles to improve quality of life and support activities.
• Facilitate a programme of social, creative and skills-based activities for individuals and groups.
• Work with the MDT to lead on client-centred activities.
