Job summary

A leading construction contractor in Pevensey is seeking a Crane Supervisor to assist with safe lifts on-site. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, a Crane Supervisor Ticket (CPCS), and a strong focus on health and safety. Responsibilities include supervising crane operations, performing daily safety checks, and ensuring equipment is operational. This is an ongoing freelance contract offering £25 per hour, with a start date as soon as possible.

The company

A well-established main contractor who specialises in residential apartments, office buildings and healthcare facilities.

The role

Working as a Crane Supervisor our client will be looking for you to assist with safe lifts on site.

About you:
  • Ideally you will have experience working as Crane Supervisor for 1-2 years and will be comfortable.
  • You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside them.
  • You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete ad - Hoc duties as and when the site manager
To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
  • Supervising lifts of building materials from ground storage areas and Lorries to high rise constructions.
  • Carry out daily health and safety checks
  • Ensuring the Crane is fully maintained and operational before and after shifts
  • Will have a Crane Supervisor Ticket (CPCS)
  • Will have two references on two projects that you have worked on before
