Job description

OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Crane & Plant Engineer for our client located in Scunthorpe, this is a permanent position working Monday to Friday but will consider a contract engagement.

As a Crane & Plant Engineer you will need a strong electrical background to join our clients team and help to continue to provide their existing clients with high-quality services.

The right candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining cranes as well as associated equipment, including but not exhaustive too electrical and mechanical components. Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults in cranes and providing effective solutions to minimise downtime, as well as being able to conduct electrical inspections and tests to cranes to ensure compliance with Industry Safety guidelines.

Experience
  • Crane engineer: 5+ years (preferred)
  • Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (essential)
  • Knowledge & Skills: Mechanical & Electrical (Degree/HND)
  • Crane Inspection & Repair: 3 years (required)
  • Willingness to travel: 100% (preferred)
