Job summary

Isle of Man Government invites applications for a Craftsperson Plumber to maintain, repair and install essential plumbing systems across a range of public buildings on the Island, including health facilities and schools.

You will perform planned maintenance, testing and fault finding as part of a multidisciplinary team, with site time at Nobles Hospital and other public sites, ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Tradesplumber with hands-on experience in maintenance, repair and installation of plumbing systems.
• Comfort working across multiple government sites including hospitals and schools.
• Basic police check is required for the post.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and install hot and cold water, steam plant, ventilation and building management controls.
• Carry out planned maintenance, statutory testing, fault finding and emergency response as part of a multi-discipline team.
• Work across the Island, including Nobles Hospital, with a focus on safety, compliance and operational readiness.
