Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting for Food Production Operatives in Paignton to join a reputable seafood manufacturer. The role involves preparing, processing and packing crab products on the production line with a focus on quality control and hygiene.

Working hours are 07:00–15:30, Monday to Friday, with training provided. The environment is seafood-based and may carry a natural crab odour, but the team is friendly and supportive. Temp-to-perm opportunities exist for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Previous food production experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
• Comfortable working in a seafood environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, processing, and packing crab products on the production line.
• Labelling and quality checking finished goods.
• Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
• Assisting with general production and cleaning duties.
