Job summary

Your World Nursing is seeking a Psychiatric Community Nurse to deliver community-based mental health support. You will assess patients, develop personalised care plans, and provide therapeutic interventions including counselling and crisis support.

Collaborating with NHS and social services, you will advocate for patients and promote mental health awareness while facilitating access to community resources.

Qualifications

• Must hold NMC registration to practice in the UK.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in UK healthcare settings.
• Right to work in the UK and UK references.

The Role

As a Psychiatric Community Nurse, you'll provide mental health support and care within the community. Your duties will involve working closely with patients dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia. You'll conduct assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs, develop personalised care plans, and provide therapeutic interventions. You'll also offer counselling, medication management, and crisis intervention, helping patients cope with their conditions and enhance their overall well-being. You'll act as advocates for their patients, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental illness.
