A leading education recruitment agency in the United Kingdom seeks Cover Supervisors to support students in Tameside. You will supervise classrooms, deliver lesson plans, and maintain a positive environment. Strong behaviour management and communication skills are essential. This full-time role requires availability Monday to Friday and a willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.
  • Availability from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Location: Tameside
Salary: 110- 160 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time & Part time Monday to Friday Permanent for the right candidates

Are you passionate about supporting students and making a real difference in their secondary school experience? Do you have excellent behaviour management skills and thrive in a dynamic classroom environment? If so, we want you!

We are working with popular Secondary Schools in Tameside who are recruiting Cover Supervisors to join their teams for the 2025-26 academic year. You must hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

What You’ll Do:
  • Supervise and manage students during teacher absences, maintaining a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure high standards of classroom behaviour.
  • Adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups across the secondary school curriculum.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support the smooth running of the school day.
  • Promote an inclusive and respectful atmosphere where students can thrive.

  • Strong behaviour management skills in a secondary school setting.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
