Job summary

Moore Teachers is partnering with a successful secondary academy to recruit a Cover Supervisor (Sports). The role focuses on delivering pre-planned lessons when staff are absent and supervising sports-based activities to support student engagement and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sport or PE, be confident leading groups of secondary students, and demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or coaching sport activities in a school or community setting.
• Ability to manage behaviour and maintain high expectations.
• Strong communication and teamwork with staff and students.
• Energetic, adaptable and enthusiastic about sport and student development.
• Capable of delivering pre-planned lessons and supervising peers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff.
• Lead and supervise sports-based activities and PE lessons.

• Support learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.
