A leading educational institution is seeking a proactive individual to support PE teaching at their school. The role involves practical assistance to teachers, equipment maintenance, and delivering lessons in their absence. Ideal candidates will be organized, capable of managing inventories, and dedicated to ensuring a safe learning environment for students. This position offers a structured workweek with a focus on supporting student development within a vibrant school community.
The main areas of responsibility of the postholder will be to support the high‑quality teaching and learning in PE, ensure safe and effective use of equipment and facilities, provide lesson supervision in teacher absence, and contribute to the organisation and administration of the PE department.
Duties and responsibilities will be allocated by the Principal and Director of Teaching and Learning: PE in accordance with scheme of Supervision for the academy. The post holder will be expected to use all Trust standard computer hardware and software packages where appropriate. The postholder will be covered for a 30‑minute lunch break at a reasonable time to meet the needs of the academy.

Salary/Pay Range: NJC Points 9-13
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, 8.30am - 3.00pm with a 30‑minute unpaid break
