Job Title: SEND Cover Supervisor

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Day Rate: £104.00 - £110.00
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm

This is a welcoming and inclusive school where every member of staff plays a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing environment where students can thrive.

About the Role:

As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, including communication, horticulture, and digital skills. Your role is to maintain a positive, structured learning environment and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. You'll work closely with specialist SEN teachers and support staff to ensure that every learner feels understood, supported, and actively engaged in their learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident leading a classroom, passionate about inclusive education, and dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with SEND.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working in SEND or specialist school settings
  • Confidence in managing a classroom and supporting students with EHCPs
  • Calm, patient, and adaptable with strong behaviour management skills
  • Understanding of supporting pupils with autism, complex needs, or physical disabilities
  • A passion for inclusive education and promoting student independence
