About the Role: We are looking for a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and dynamic secondary school in E16. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced support staff member looking to gain valuable classroom experience and make a positive impact on students' learning.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a focused and supportive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task.
• Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Support students with their learning and engagement.
• Report back to subject teachers on student progress and behaviour.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (school or tutoring experience desirable).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
• Degree-level qualification (desirable) or relevant school experience.
