Aspire People is currently recruiting for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work in a range of secondary schools across North London. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and are looking to gain valuable classroom experience - perfect for aspiring teachers or those with experience working with young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the regular teacher.
  • Ensure students remain on task with the work set and follow the school's behaviour policies.
  • Provide support where needed, helping to clarify instructions and keep students engaged.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.
  • Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues during cover lessons.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, or youth work setting.

  • A flexible, reliable, and positive approach.
  • Educated to A-Level or degree level (desirable).
