Overview

We currently have a new opportunity for a dynamic and flexible Cover Supervisor to support our staff and students by delivering lessons and supervision for a fixed term period, to cover maternity leave working up to 33.5 hours per week, term time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and provide supervision for a fixed term period to cover maternity leave, up to 33.5 hours per week during term time.
• Deploy effective classroom management skills to enable students to achieve lesson objectives.
• Offer appropriate support where needed and assist the wider faculty when teaching staff are engaged elsewhere.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with students in an educational or service environment.
• Minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Maths and English).
• Solid communication skills and the ability to successfully manage classroom behaviour and focus.
• Ability to prioritise and plan workload, delivering set lesson content effectively and efficiently and identifying opportunities for further support where appropriate.
