Cover Supervisor Worcester

Are you a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work in Worcester?

Winner Education are seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Worcester area. You’ll be responsible for supervising classes, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task, and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-set lesson plans
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Manage pupil behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support when required
  • Ensure classrooms are safe, calm, and well‑organised
  • Report back to teaching staff on progress or behaviour as needed
  • Attend staff briefings or meetings when required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a secondary school setting
  • Confident with classroom and behaviour management
  • Adaptable, reliable, and proactive in supporting students
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • QTS is desirable but not essential
