Cover Supervisor

A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Coeducational Roman Catholic Sixth Form College in South East London.

This Cover Supervisor position will be part time and temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Cover Supervisor, your duties and expectations will include but not be limited to:

• Covering different lessons
• Managing pupil behaviour effectively
• Engaging with pupils in classes
• Holding good understanding of ICT
• Demonstrating a positive attitude

The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between 82.14 to 100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A Coeducational Roman Catholic Sixth Form College located in the London Borough of Bexley.

Pupils at the Sixth Form are aged between 16 to 19 years old.

Founded in 1992 the college has since expanded and spread itself across 3 sites, all represent the Catholic faith, upon which it is based.

It hold Beacon Status.

Other parts of the site include a fitness suite/sports teaching area, media suites, a recording studio, art, design and technology rooms, fully equipped science laboratories, networked computer rooms and a Chaplaincy area including a Chapel and Chapel common room.

Requirements

You will be considered if you're a recent Graduate, Unqualified Teacher or experienced Cover Supervisor.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
• Experience of working with children/teenagers/young adults or as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools
