General Cover Supply Teacher - Wellingborough Area

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026
Contract Type: Flexible (Day-to-Day, Short-Term or Long-Term)
Salary: 100-125 per day (dependent on experience and assignment)

The Role

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects (no planning or marking required in most cases).
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Following school policies and procedures to ensure consistency and continuity for students.
• Providing feedback to heads of department or cover managers as required.

Ideal Candidates Will

• Hold QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Be reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to new settings quickly.
• Possess an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one through Tradewind).
