As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students stay engaged and motivated to learn. Cover Supervisor - the role

No two days are ever the same!

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre‑planned lessons effectively
• Foster a positive, productive and disciplined classroom environment
• Maintain student engagement, ensuring they stay focused and complete tasks as assigned
• Provide feedback on student progress, behaviour and classroom dynamics to teachers and staff
• Adapt to various classroom settings, ensuring consistency and continuity in students' learning experience

Cover Supervisor - what we're looking for

• Strong Leadership & Communication Skills: Able to guide and manage students with confidence
• Classroom Authority: Maintain a calm, authoritative presence to manage diverse groups of students
• UK-Recognised Degree and/or Experience in Education: Prior experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous
• Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust to different classroom environments, student needs, and teaching style
• A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for a new certificate, we can help with this process)
• Ability to commute reliably to schools in Kidderminster and/or surrounding areas
