Overview

Cover Supervisor – Available Immediately

Salary: £21,866 to £23,360 actual salary (Point 13 to 17 Essex Scale 6)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:00 am to 3:30 pm daily)

Term time only

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will provide cover for absent teaching staff across a broad curriculum.
  • You will supervise pre-set work to ensure continuity of learning and manage student behaviour to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • No prior teaching experience is necessary, making this an ideal role for those considering teaching as a career or those looking to return to the profession.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
