Job summary

Overview

Cover Supervisor - Harpenden

Location: Harpenden
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing
Salary: £90-£120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary to Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and support students in completing assigned work.
  • Maintain good classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and progress.
  • Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • A-Levels or a Degree preferred.
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable (e.g. as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, or Mentor).
  • Classroom management experience would be beneficial.
