Job summary

Principal Education seeks Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across London, including Greenwich/Ealing areas. You will supervise classes in teachers' absence, deliver prepared activities, and support students with behavioural and learning needs to ensure inclusive, positive learning environments.

Ideal candidates have experience with youth work or coaching, strong communication, and a valid Enhanced DBS. Flexible hours and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage behaviour and maintain positive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in teachers' absence, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials or activities.
• Support students with behavioural and learning needs to ensure inclusion.
• Act as a positive role model, promoting respect and teamwork in the classroom.
• Maintain attendance and behaviour records.
• Communicate with staff and leadership about issues or successes.
