Overview

Cover Supervisor - Dunstable

Location: Dunstable

Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

Salary: £90-£120 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary to Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay focused and complete set work.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Create a positive learning atmosphere and encourage student engagement.
  • Follow school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety.
  • Report feedback to the teaching team and senior staff.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • A-Levels or a Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (e.g. Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Sports Coach) is desirable.
  • Classroom management experience advantageous but not essential - full guidance provided.
