As a CS, you will oversee lessons in the absence of teaching staff, manage students effectively, and maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Manage student behaviour and ensure engagement with learning tasks.
• Support the maintenance of a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to follow lesson plans effectively.
• Encourage students to work independently and collaboratively.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to maintain a calm and structured environment.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
