Overview

Lift New Rickstones is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive team. The school has increased staff numbers, high retention rates and a strong commitment to development through an extensive CPD programme. We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our growing Cover Team. In this key role, you will provide high quality classroom supervision across all subjects, ensuring students continue to learn, thrive and make progress during both planned and unplanned teacher absences. All new Cover Supervisors will benefit from a comprehensive induction and training programme before starting in the role. This includes a full week of induction covering behaviour management, safeguarding, classroom routines alongside opportunities to observe experienced teachers and gain hands-on experience with our core teaching and learning tools. This supportive start helps you feel confident, prepared and ready to make a real impact from day one. This is a permanent, term-time position, working 8:15am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality classroom supervision across all subjects during planned and unplanned teacher absences to support students learning and progress.
• Engage with students, manage behaviour, and implement classroom routines in line with school policies.
• Participate in the induction and ongoing training to develop confidence and classroom skills.
