Job Details

Location: Underley Garden School, Kirkby Lonsdale, LA6 2DZ

Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

About The Role

The main objective of the Cover Supervisor is to provide high-quality teaching and learning cover across the school. Responsibilities include leading classes, managing challenging behaviours, and ensuring pupils meet lesson objectives, maintaining consistency and continuity especially during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cover timetabled classes and general absences.
2. Deliver lessons and handle challenging behaviour.
3. Ensure students stay focused and achieve lesson goals.
4. Prepare classrooms for lessons.

Additional Contributions

• Develop and implement policies for pupils' personal and social development.
• Induct pupils and conduct baseline assessments.
• Promote proper conduct, discipline, and respect for authority.

Work Schedule & Benefits
