We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Swindon and the surrounding areas.
This role would suit someone with a strong presence, excellent communication skills and the confidence to take control of a classroom. You don't necessarily need previous experience in education; We're particularly interested in professionals who have developed discipline, leadership and people-management skills in demanding environments. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in the military, police, prison service, security, emergency services, youth work or other structured and disciplined environments.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive, calm and purposeful learning environment when regular teaching staff are unavailable. You'll need to be someone who can walk into a classroom and command respect without raising your voice, setting clear expectations, managing behaviour and ensuring students remain focused and engaged with the work provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
