Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools - Manchester

Location: Manchester

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Start Date: Ongoing

Contract Type: Flexible / Full-time preferred

Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Setting: Secondary Schools (Key Stage 3 & 4)

Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting secondary-aged pupils? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of thriving secondary schools throughout Manchester.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience, particularly if you're considering a future in teaching or have worked in school environments previously.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining a productive and positive classroom environment in the absence of the class teacher. You'll cover a broad range of subjects, so a flexible and confident attitude is key.

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 3 months' experience working in UK schools (secondary level).
• Full-time availability: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• A confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills.
• The ability to build rapport with students and maintain a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Willingness to work across multiple schools and subject areas.
