PE Cover Teacher – Sittingbourne

We are seeking a confident and adaptable PE Cover Teacher to support a secondary school in Sittingbourne. This role is ideal for someone passionate about physical education and experienced in working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). The position is available for an immediate start and offers flexibility in duration.

Contract: Temporary

Salary: £130 - £150 per day (Dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-planned PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Supervise students and maintain classroom discipline
  • Adapt activities to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Encourage participation in a range of inclusive physical activities
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate with SEN staff to support individual learning plans
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teachers with QTS and SEN experience
  • Unqualified candidates with coaching or sports leadership experience and a background in SEN
  • Individuals with strong classroom management and a nurturing approach
  • Experience working in mainstream or specialist SEN settings is highly desirable
