Are you a Cover Supervisor available for immediate work within secondary schools? Or are you a University Graduate looking for work experience before starting your PGCE? If yes, we have the role for you!

Cover People is looking for confident candidates with strong interpersonal skills and the flexibility needed to be a successful cover supervisor.

Position: Cover Supervisor
Location: Salford (Secondary Schools)
Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time, Mon to Fri 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising classes during teacher absences
  • Ensuring students are completing the work set by SLT/class teachers
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom – creating a constructive learning environment
  • Providing support to students where necessary
Requirements
  • A degree or relevant experience
  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Cover People UK
