Cover Supervisor – Full Time, Term Time Only

SALARY: SCP9 – SCP 13 (£27,254 – £29,064 Full time equivalent). Training: 5 days. We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Cover Supervisor at Oasis Academy MediaCity. You will take charge on short notice, engage students, and ensure lessons run smoothly even when plans change. If you want to make a real difference in young lives, this is your chance.

Role Overview

No two days are alike – this dynamic role is varied and rewarding. Plans can change instantly, and you’ll be expected to deliver ready‑to‑use lessons across a range of year groups and subjects, maintain a positive classroom environment, adapt confidently to changing situations, and collaborate with the team to ensure every student enjoys the best possible learning experience.

  • A calm, authoritative communication style and strong classroom management skills
  • Organisational skills, adaptability, and resilience in the face of challenges
  • Ideally, experience in a care or pastoral role
  • Above all – reliable and able to motivate students
