Cover Supervisor - Rotherham

Academics are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work on a temporary, flexible, ongoing basis within welcoming and supportive secondary schools in the Rotherham area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff looking for regular classroom experience without the responsibilities of planning or marking.

Position: Cover Supervisor
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing
Pay: £100 - £130 per day (dependent on experience, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with pre-planned work left by the class teacher. This is a great role for those considering a future in teaching, as it allows you to build confidence, develop classroom management skills, and gain valuable experience across a range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes in the teacher's absence
