Job summary

TEACH Poole is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support classrooms across EYFS and KS1. The role covers teacher absences and school-wide duties, with placement across Ad Astra Infant and Canford Heath Infant/Junior schools.

The post is permanent, term-time only, and aligned with the Trust staffing model. The successful candidate will join a supportive team, bring energy and enthusiasm, and be able to manage whole classes in a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 or equivalent qualifications or Higher.
• Ability to teach whole classes across primary age ranges (EYFS & KS1).
• Willingness to work across Canford Heath Infant and Ad Astra Infant School and across the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Cover classrooms for teacher absences and other school-wide coverage needs across the primary age range.
• Work across Canford Heath Infant and Ad Astra Infant School as part of Trust staffing.

Monday to Friday, 8.15 am - 3.30 pm, 45-minute lunch

Grade E (Point 7 - 11) £26,403 - £28,142 pro-rata
Actual Salary £19,258.75 - £20,527.20

We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our Trust with the skills to work across the primary school age range. The successful candidate will work every day to cover classrooms for teacher absences and other school-wide coverage needs. Staff will be employed by the Trust as a whole, however you will first be required to work across Canford Heath Infant and Ad Astra Infant School.
